Another podcast, another Unblinking Ear Records release to plug. This one is from Staten Island power trio Kerbivore, a 5-song EP called All Dressed. Without totally reiterating their one sheet (which I wrote, so it wouldn't be plagiarism) I'm going to say it's their best stuff yet. They've always been a band with chops but this is the first release where, back to front, they've got the tunes to match. Its opening track also opens this edition of the podcast and the whole shebang is available for streaming/digital download at the Unblinking Ear Records bandcamp page, with cassettes shipping very soon.

It's rough out there, folks. You just don't know who you can trust. Just in the past couple of weeks, we've had the P4K "People's List" (submissions without any Radiohead were thrown out for assumed trolling/implausibility), an article tracing punk's lineage back to Scandal's "Goodbye to You" and some kind of plea to listen to more Foo Fighters, I guess. Also, there's something called Rosco Bandana. The point is, some people are just dying to give you bad information.

Earlier today, WFMU's Evan "Funk" Davies (pictured left) commented on the post for my previous podcast that the download link was broken.

I don't know exactly how this went unnoticed for two weeks (a fortnight!) by myself or my loyal listeners. It couldn't be that this podcast doesn't inspire the unmitigated devotion I assume it does, right?
