My best podcast of the year is usually the first one. Why? Because I've read a whole bunch of other people's best of the year list from the preceding year and cherry picked my favorites from what I hadn't heard. This podcast is truly standing on the shoulders of giants. (Giants, in the case, usually meaning former fanzine editors in their late 40s/early 50s.)
